Custom homes for the hour the lights come on.
Every Vesper home is designed from the water back —
the view you'll actually live in.
Four commissions a year.
This could be the fourth.
We walk the site at dusk before we draw anything. Where the sun leaves, where the water holds its light, where the pines go black first — the land writes the brief. Only then does the sketching start.
White oak that will outlive the mortgage. Limestone from forty miles away, dry-stacked by the same two masons we've used for a decade. We build with eleven materials, not a catalog — chosen slowly, touched first.

Most builders photograph at noon. We design for eight p.m. — the hour the family is actually home, the windows turn to lanterns, and the house starts doing its real job. Glazing, ceiling height, and every fixture are decided at dusk, on site, with the clients standing where the sofa will be.

We take four commissions a year, design-build, from first site walk to the night the lights come on. One is open for 2027.
