Fifteen years in brand and digital design

My fifteen years in brand, product, and web design include five years shaping Dyson’s digital presence across North America.

Today I run Tosa Marketing from Wauwatosa and partner with agencies on projects that need senior design judgment. Good design should make a business easier to understand and easier to trust.

The name and mark

Why a firefly?

The City of Wauwatosa traces the city’s name to Potawatomi Chief Wauwautaesie, honored when the name was chosen in 1842. Its history associates his name with the Potawatomi word for firefly and describes fireflies throughout the Menomonee River Valley.

That account gave the studio both its name and its mark. The firefly is a small piece of Wauwatosa history that can move, glow, and carry the brand wherever it appears.
